All the feels, a mash-up of what its like being human. It is also (from my POV) a very real depiction of where we are as a society with this excerpt: "Granted, this is all assuming you have a Thanksgiving. A family, given to you or chosen. Assuming they speak to you, that they accept you. Assuming you have a safe place to go and a warm meal to share with people who care. Sometimes that’s too much to ask." 💜
Thank you for acknowledging me among the many Substackers. I really enjoy your work. You have such a wonderful spirit. I also appreciate your authenticity. I especially love the PWN and Seattle images. It’s getting cold 🥶 outside. Time to bundle up! x
What a great start to the holiday weekend! Loved sitting with your words, laughing together, and being oh so happy to meet a fellow lover of headstones, nature and spirits. Thanks for including me and creating an inclusive space on planet Substack :)
Restacked! Don’tcha know when I was pregnant with my kid (back in 98/99) I had instant mashed potatoes for breakfast—Every. Day. Finding your substack has is one of my favorite things here so far. I, too, am grateful for you!
Wow Sanna this comment made my day. Thank you for your kindness. Instant mash does make everything better. It’s delicious and comforting. I love that you had it for breakfast every day! 😄
Hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving. The tamales sound great. The one thing I miss since moving back to NYC from San Diego -- great Mexican food (though I've never considered lasagne tamales).
So sweet of you to include me in your list. I know this community is that much better for having you in it.
Thank you doll, I admire your creativity. Don’t forget in my state, Rhode Island, there’s plenty of spookiness you can seek out. You’re a wonderful caring person! Blessings…
I’m truly touched by your kind words—thank you for seeing me as a source of inspiration. It means so much to be mentioned alongside such brilliant authors and Substackers who continue to teach and inspire us all. This community is a gift, and I’m grateful to share in it with you. 🌿✨
I am learning so much from you. Your writing feels like a ray of sunshine (or maybe a strudel fresh from the oven.) I hope our paths continue to cross!
