I've lived in the Portland area for years and had no idea that the Heathman Hotel was haunted OR that it has such an incredible library. My eyes have been opened!

I know you say you're not a poet, but I think you are based on the poem you just wrote in this article! Loved your poem, pictures and all the history about this hotel turned library!! Can't wait to read your articles from your fall foliage frolicking!! It's on my bucket list to be in the New England area for the fall. I can live vicariously through you for now....lol. Have fun!!

Aw thank you so much! I love that you guys are so patient with me trying new things. Substack is such a cool place to branch out artistically. I hope you are getting some fun Fall activities in no matter where you live. Thank you so much for your kind words and for commenting.

I love me anything haunted. Got a kick out of this line: "Room 703 attacks." 👻🧙🏼‍♀️🕷️🕸️

What a compelling poem, and such gorgeous photos to accompany it! It sounds like fun to stay at a haunted library, but I'm pretty sure my kids would freak out. I hope things are still interesting in a few years when I can travel without them.

This whole Seed Pod project has been so much fun! Thanks for being part of it.
