Thank you, Robin, that is so kind of you! This was so much fun to put together!! I didn’t even know I was passionate about literature but it stood out everywhere I went.

I like it when gifts reveal themselves.

What a tour! So many great places and experiences. A few years ago, I attended a reading of part of Legend of Sleepy Hallow in the Old North Church and the Headless Horseman rode through the graveyard. So much fun! So glad you enjoyed your trip and thank you for this post. I'm saving it for future adventures.

Oh wow that sounds so cool! I haven’t seen the headless horseman yet in person, only on socials. A reading at the Church sounds like a dream.

It’s perfect! I visited Tarrytown on a trip to visit family graves at Gate of Heaven in Westchester County. That’s when I discovered the mystery of my missing great grandfather. I still don’t know what happened to him!

Holy shnikeys! You have a missing great grandfather?

I’m going to check out Gate of Heaven.

Looking for him led me to several other discoveries, but I have never been able to determine what happened to him. He disappeared without a trace sometime between 1900-1910.

If you go to Gate of Heaven, let me know and I'll give you the details for my family plots. They'd love it if you stopped by to say hello!

It definitely felt creepy but the hotel was so gorgeous that I didn’t mind. Unfortunately I could only afford to stay for one night!
