JT, you always make me smile so hard. I’m so glad we get to be friends. Thank you for walking in the woods with me. This is the nicest thing you could say, and I needed it. Thank you so so much. 🥹🥹🥹
Such an intimate moment. Thank you for sharing. I have heard of wind phones, but I did not realize we have them here in the states. What a beautiful idea. And sad. 😔 And, as always, your photos are such a treat. I felt like I was in the forest with you.
Thank you Jamie! Looks like the closest ones to you are Dover or near Providence. But new ones come along all the time. I think it’s neat how this is something that brings us together globally. I love it so much. Thank you for your kind words. 🥰
Thank you Rhaine. It’s sad but i love these moments of wonder and connection. Thank you so much for reading and taking the time to comment. I appreciate you. 🩶
I read ‘The Phone Booth at the Edge of the World’ for a book group I participated in last year. I assume you're calling someone who is no longer with us on this earth. I guess I was slow to pick that up until the end. That's when the sadness hit me. I loved the imagery as I listened to the piece. Eventually, I was able to connect to the symbolism. There’s a longing in your voice. You beautifully captured the memories of someone you once associated with. I feel that way about a few people right now. They're still around but no longer a part of my life due to circumstances. I've had a hard time letting go. I think of them from time to time. I plan to create lockets, altars, or memorial books. I feel like they're still part of my life in spirit. These people have had such a profound impact in my life. They'll never be replaced.
Wow, Anna, that is so beautiful. I love how you are cherishing their memories while still letting go. This is something I have struggled with, cutting the energetic cords and honoring the past instead of all that guilt and regret. I am so inspired by you.
This is such a wonderful and intriguing post, Lyns. I have never heard of a wind phone before and the concept gave me a chill when I saw the picture of your hand on the phone. This is such a beautiful and intimate picture you've presented here Lyns, so sacred, so real. Thank you for this.
Yes, they are all over! I hope you find one nearby!
Thank you so much, Prajna! It means a lot that you took the time to read and comment. I really appreciate all of your support. I hope you are doing well this week. 🩶
This is beautiful Lyns. I did not know wind phones existed. What an incredible gift to lift the receiver and to... listen... to speak... to connect. Your words are very touching and the pics, fabulous!
Beautiful Lyns! Full of tension and wonder and tenderness. I am delighted to hear about the telephone of the wind! But so curious - I thought the first image was some kind of wind instrument at first.
Thank you Julia! You are amazing. The first image is from an overhang at a picnic area at the front of the park. It could be the symbol of a wind instrument, since the park is the entrance to the trails leading to the wind phone. 🤷🏻♀️ that’s a cool idea! Thank you for reading and commenting.
Thank you so much, Nina! That is so incredibly kind of you to say. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for being here and taking the time to comment. 🥹

And I'm inspired by you. Not easy to break from past. It’s a process. Inevitably we’ll be stronger for the journey.
